Na nota, Muricy deseja sorte para Mano Menezes, que aceitou sair do Corinthians e ir para a seleção, e agradeceu o presidente da CBF, Ricardo Teixeira, e o diretor de comunicação da entidade, Rodrigo Paiva.

"Estou focado no meu trabalho junto ao Fluminense", diz, em nota. "Mantenho sempre a minha postura e posições em minha vida", completou.

"Quero nesse momento desejar sorte e sucesso ao técnico Mano Menezes no comando da Seleção Brasileira e agradecer ao presidente da Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, Ricardo Teixeira, e ao assessor de comunicação, Rodrigo Paiva, pelo respeito a decisão que tomei. Ambos foram excepcionais na conversa que tivemos, nesta última sexta-feira (23 de julho).
